Before the Path Was Clear
Future Living TH was founded by a group of international and local visionaries who arrived in Thailand for a holiday and never truly left. Captivated by the country's extraordinary diversity — from the mist-draped valleys of Chiang Mai to the emerald waters of the Gulf Coast — they saw an unmet need: a trusted guide for those seeking not just a place to stay, but a life to build.
Over a decade ago, our founders began mapping Thailand's emerging communities, engaging local leaders, sustainability experts, and lifestyle architects to create a network of knowledge unlike anything else in the region. What began as a passion project evolved into a purpose-driven platform serving hundreds of families each year.
Today, Future Living TH stands at the intersection of lifestyle aspiration and local wisdom — a bridge between global dreamers and the Land of Smiles that holds more opportunity than most could imagine.
Our Milestones
The Founding Vision
Three friends — a Thai architect, a Danish sustainability consultant, and a British lifestyle journalist — pooled their expertise to launch Future Living TH from a small studio in Bangkok's riverside district.
First curated guide to sustainable communities published, reaching 5,000 readers in its inaugural month across Southeast Asia.
Northern Thailand partnership programme launched, embedding our team within Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai communities for hands-on research.
Expanding North
Recognising Thailand's north as a frontier for inspired living, we planted roots in Chiang Mai — establishing the consultancy's first regional base outside of Bangkok.
Coastal Awakening
Launched our coastal living research programme, revealing the untapped potential of Thailand's lesser-known Gulf and Andaman communities beyond the tourist trail.
100th family milestone celebrated — a hundred households successfully guided to their ideal Thai home, each story unique and deeply personal.
Partnered with Thailand's leading sustainable architecture firms to co-develop the Green Living Index — a framework for rating community sustainability across 14 criteria.
